North Florida Botanicals is local medicine, handcrafted by herbalist and A Thousand Leaves Herb Shop owner, LeAnn Averell.

These herbal preparations are made with herbs that grow in the North Central Florida region - many of them native, and others that have adapted well to the climate. 

They are simple tinctures, or simples - preparations that are made using just one herb.

Working with simples allows you to get to know the unique qualities of a single plant, making it easier to observe how a particular herb interacts with your body over time.
